"Beavercreek is following the lead of neighboring communities, including Kettering and Dayton, which have successfully used a variety of development tools to retain and expand local business. Greene County is anticipating a significant increase in sales tax revenue generated from The Greene. In order to facilitate this economic development opportunity, the city of Beavercreek has teamed up with Greene County and Steiner & Associates on a Tax Increment Financing plan (TIF) for the purpose of constructing infrastructure that will serve both The Greene and the needs of the community."
